Sealing sleeves
Sealing cuff, telescopic cuff or transition cuff, this is the name given to a cuff seal whose main task is to connect two pipes.
M.O.L. ROMGUM rubber sealing collar
The sealing sleeve (telescopic) manufactured by the rubber products manufacturer M.O.L. ROMGUM is a made of a rubber compound based on SBR rubber, hardness grade 60° IRHD, according to EN 681-1.
Properties of the sealing sleeve
SBR rubber, or styrene-butadiene rubber, is characterised by its high resistance to abrasion, high and low temperatures and varying weather conditions. Also thanks to the fact that SBR rubber is inert to water, alcohols, inorganic acids and bases. in small concentrationsrubber cuffs based on this rubber are often used in water and sewerage networks. and drainage.

Of course, it is possible to select materials and parameters according to customer requirements and specific standards.
Telescopic sealing gasket on request
We are able to produce the cuff seal from a rubber compound based on other rubbers (e.g. SBR, EPDM, NBR), adapting to the requirements of specific standards. Of course, we can select the appropriate rubber compound based on the conditions in which the cuff seal will operate.
