IN SITU seals

They are used to seal the entrance (side connection) of a pipe from a manhole, tank, sewage treatment plant or septic tank.

  • They are manufactured from a rubber compound based on SBR rubber in hardness class 40° IRHD, in accordance with the requirements of EN 681-1.

What are IN SITU seals?

These are gaskets used in the construction industry. They are most often made of a rubber compound based on SBR rubber. They are also referred to as rubber glands, they are placed in the opening of tanks, septic tanks, manholes. Depending on requirements, their contact surface with the pipes can be smooth or corrugated.

Where and why are IN SITU seals used?

These seals shall be used to seal the entrance (side connection) for any type of manhole, tank, sewage treatment plant or septic tank. Most commonly, the gasket is placed at a 90-degree angle to the tank. Thanks to the IN SITU seal, the connection is airtightregardless of the viscosity, density and velocity of the flowing fluids.
