Material NBR
NBR stands for "Nitrile Butadiene Rubber", which in Polish can be translated as nitrile butadiene rubber. Material NBR exhibits exceptional chemical and mechanical properties. This type of synthetic rubber, is often used to manufacture all kinds of rubber products.
Material properties of NBR
- Chemical resistance: NBR is resistant to oils, greases, fuels and many chemicals, making it an ideal material for seals and gaskets in the automotive and engineering industries.
- Temperature resistance: This material has good temperature resistance, which allows it to be used in extreme conditions such as high or low temperatures. With success, products made of NBR rubber can be placed outdoors, for example as sewer gaskets.
- Flexibility: NBR rubber is flexible and easily conforms to the shape of a surface, making it an ideal material for gaskets, rubber profiles and other rubber components.
- Durability: NBR is a durable and abrasion-resistant material, which makes it suitable for systems requiring long-term mechanical strength. For this reason, NBR rubber is used for mats under workbenches and industrial machines or as flooring in fitness rooms.
