What is EPDM?
EPDM is another name for ethoxylene-propylene-diene-monomer rubber. This rubber is cross-linked by sulphur or peroxide vulcanisation. It is characterised by very good resistance to all kinds of mechanical forces. Despite impact and pressure EPDM rubber is not subject to permanent deformation. The elastomer is suitable for very wide temperature ranges from -40°C to +110°C, making the use of gums EPDM is highly variable. Ethylene propylene diene rubber is not resistant to grease, fuel or mineral oil-based oils.

EPDM self-adhesive gasket
Self-adhesive seals with EPDM rubbers (equipped with adhesive tape) is a suitable material for sealing covers, windows, doors, flaps or inspection hatches. It is most commonly used in construction and renovation work. The self-adhesive gasket is also used to prevent vibrations in machine components. Its installation is very simple, consisting of cutting a suitable length, peeling off the underside and sticking the seal onto a well-cleaned surface. The self-adhesive gasket is suitable for bonding to surfaces such as metal, plastic or wood. Self-adhesive gasket EPDM is durable and resistant to a wide range of temperatures. Price of self-adhesive gasket EPDM depends on its dimensions and intended use.
